When you subscribe to Correspondence, you provide an email address. Buttondown also records the service metadata needed to administer consent, double opt-in confirmation, subscription reminders and unsubscribe requests. No additional subscriber fields are requested by the Manner & Form form.

When you contact Manner & Form directly, the message and information you choose to include are received through email.

The public site also collects limited aggregate usage information through Plausible.

Subscription information is used to send Letters from the House, maintain consent records and manage confirmation, reminder, cleanup and unsubscribe preferences. Direct inquiries are used to read and respond to the message. Limited operational information may be used to maintain site security and satisfy applicable legal obligations.

Aggregate site information is used to understand basic site use and improve the publication.

Correspondence subscriptions are submitted directly to Buttondown for confirmation, subscriber administration and delivery.

Purelymail hosts email for Manner & Form and processes direct messages sent to hello@mannerandform.com.

Plausible provides aggregate site analytics without advertising profiles.

The approved Plausible configuration does not use cookies, advertising pixels or retargeting. It loads only on the public production host and not on protected preview or review environments. Manner & Form does not offer website accounts, ecommerce or online payment collection.

Subscriber information is retained as needed to administer the subscription and any required suppression or compliance records. Direct inquiry email is retained according to the real operational practice and applicable obligations. No fixed retention period is stated until those requirements are verified.

You may unsubscribe from Correspondence at any time using the link in an email. For privacy questions, or to request access, correction or deletion concerning information you provided, contact hello@mannerandform.com.

Information handled by Buttondown, Purelymail and Plausible may be processed outside Canada, depending on their service infrastructure and the location from which a visitor uses the site.
